This activity allows you to view the region master and define the regions. You can specify the parent region and the type of the region and the system retrieves the details of the region in the multiline. If parent region is not specified, then the system retrieves all the regions belonging to the region type selected. The system also displays the login id of the user and the system date.
Select the “View Region Master” link under the “Enterprise Model” business component.
The “View Region Master” page appears.
Enter the following details in the header:
Parent Region |
The parent region refers to the highest level in region to which one or more child regions are mapped (Alphanumeric, 10). |
The system displays the following:
Parent Region Desc. |
The textual description of the parent region, if parent region is entered. |
Parent Region Type |
The type of the parent region, if parent region is entered. |
Enter the following detail
Region Type |
Use the drop down-list box to specify the type of the region. It can be “All”, “State”, “Circle”, “Ward” or “Factory”. The system displays “All” by default on the launch of the page. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the Region details in the multiline.
The system retrieves the Region details in the multiline based on the value entered in the Region Type drop-down list box, if parent region is not entered
If Parent region is entered, the system retrieves the Parent region description and the Parent region type in the header. The regions that are mapped to the parent region is also displayed in the multi-line based on the value selected in the region type.
The system displays an error message if no Regions belonging to the selected region type have been mapped to the Parent region.
