Specify Weightage

This page allows you to specify the weightage for the component codes defined in the “Component Master” activity. In this page you can specify the weightage applicable for the component and the date from which it is effective. For example Service Tax is applicable only on 25% of Basic Sale Price. This weightage can be specified with effective date for components (& charges) separately and for principal and interest portion separately in this page.

Select the “Specify Weightage” link at the bottom of the “Component Master” activity.

The “Specify Weightage” page appears.

Select an option from the drop-down list box:

Component Code

Use the drop-down list box to select the component code for which the weightage have to be defined. The combo is loaded with component codes defined in the “Component Master” activity in alphabetical order.

The system displays the following in the header:

Description

The description of the component code.

Enter the following details in the “Weightage Details” multiline:

Effective From	The date from which the weightage specified for the component is effective.
Weightage(%)	The percentage of weightage for the component selected in the header.

Note: At lease one row should be selected in the multiline.

Click the “Save Details” button to save (create/modify) the weightage details of the component.

The system displays the following in the multiline:

Effective To

The date until which the weightage is effective.

Note: This column will be blank indicating that the weightage is effective till current date when only one weightage is specified. When the weightage percentage is modified, the Effective To of the previous weightage becomes Effective From date of the new weightage -1 that is a day earlier to the Effective From date of the new weightage.

The system displays the following:

Created By	The login ID of the user who created the component weighatge details.
Created Date	The date on which the component weighatge details was created.
Last Modified By	The login ID of the user who modified the component weighatge details.
Last Modified Date	The date on which the component weighatge details was last modified.
