This activity enables you to deactivate formulae, which are in “Active” or “Inactive” status. You are allowed to only deactivate the “Active” formulae. Active Formulae cannot be deleted.
The system displays the formula details in the multiline as per the search criteria. This activity enables you to deactivate the formula, after specifying the reason code for deactivation.
Select the “Deactivate Formula” activity link under the “Formula Model” business component.
The “Deactivate Formula” page appears.
Enter the following in “Search Criteria” group box, to search for formulae and its details:

You can enter the formula code in full or specify it partially using a similar character in the first text box provided alongside. The system retrieves all the formulas in the multiline similar to the character entered here. Use the drop-down list box to select the operator to search for the Item. The system lists all the item codes that are used in formulae with the specified types in “Type” field You can enter the item code in full or specify it partially using a similar character in the first text box provided alongside. The system retrieves all the codes in the multiline similar to the character entered here. You can enter a range of item codes in both the text boxes provided alongside to retrieve the “In between” items in the multiline |

Use the drop-down list box to select the item type used in the formula to be deactivated. The system lists all the types that are created in the “Create Formula” activity of the current business component. The system displays “Primary Product” by default. |

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to mark the formula for deactivating.
Click the “Deactivate ” pushbutton to deactivate the formula.
The system updates the status of the formula to “Deactive”. The system stores the login user ID as Deactivated By and the current date as the “Deactivated Date”.
