This activity allows you to view the formula details.

The “View Formula” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Status

The status of the formula, which is “Inactive”.

  • Inactive – indicates the status of the formula, when all mandatory fields have not yet been entered.

Formula

The code identifying the formula to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 12) Mandatory.

 

Help facility available

Version

The number identifying the version, which is attached to each formula.

The system displays the following:

Formula Class

The code identifying the formula class. A set of formulae are categorized or grouped to form a “Class”.

Description

The textual description of the “Formula”.

Effective From

The date starting from which the formula is effective.

Effective To

The date until which the formula is effective.

Instruction

The code identifying the instruction, which is attached to the formula.

Description

The textual description of the instruction.

Remarks

Any additional information pertaining to the formula.

The system displays the following:

Item Code

The code identifying the item used in the formula.

Variant

The variant of the item.

IO Type

The system displays one of the following Types:

  • Primary Input – indicates raw material or intermediate. In certain industries processing one input item can lead to multiple output items. The item in such a case is defined as “Primary Input”.

  • Primary Product – indicates finished product or intermediate. In certain industries multiple input items blend to produce a singe output item. The output item in such a case is defined as “Primary Product”.

Description

The textual description of the formula.

Quantity

The quantity of the item required in the formula.

UOM

The unit of measurement of the item.

The system displays the following:

Copy From Formula

The code identifying the formula from which the formula details were copied.

Version

The version number of the formula

Organization Unit

 

Activated By

The name of the user who activated the formula.

Activated Date

The date on which the formula was activated.

Inactivated By

The name of the user who deactivated the formula.

Inactivated Date

The date on which the formula was deactivated

Reason Code

The code identifying the reason for deactivating the formula.

Description

The textual description for deactivating the formula.

The system displays the following in the “Formula Details” multiline:

Serial Number

The serial number corresponding to the item/instruction.

Type

The system lists one of the following Types:

  • Primary Input – indicates raw material or intermediate.

  • Primary Product – indicates finished product or intermediate.

  • Co-Product – indicates items that are produced together with the “Primary Product”

  • By-Product – indicates unwanted product, which is produced along with the “Primary Product”.

  • Recycle – indicates secondary output item, which is recycled.

  • Instruction – indicates the instruction id attached to the formula.

  • Instruction Text  – indicates additional information on usage of formula.

Item/Instruction

The code identifying the item/instruction, which is attached to the formula.

Variant

The variant of the item entered in  item/instruction field

Item/Instruction Description

The textual description of the Item or instruction.

Quantity

The quantity of the item used in the formula.

UOM

The unit of measurement of the item variant.

Scaling

The scaling type of the quantity, which could be “Fixed” or “Variable”. Scaling is applicable only for input items.

  • Fixed – indicates the quantity specified for the input item is the same for all quantities of the “Output Item”.

  • Variable – indicates the quantity specified for the input item varies for different Quantities of the Output Item.

Positive Tolerance %

The positive tolerance is the upper limit within which the quantity  can vary. Here, the tolerance limit affects the quantity positively.

Negative Tolerance %

The negative tolerance is the lower limit within which the quantity  can vary. Here, the tolerance limit affects the quantity negatively.

Secure View

The system specifies whether a row can be viewed outside Formula Model Business Component. The system lists one of the following:

  • Yes – indicates that the row cannot be viewed outside “Formula Model” business component.

  • No – indicates that the row can be viewed outside “Formula Model” business component.

Loss%

The percentage indicating the loss incurred for input items. The loss% is calculated only for the input items. The loss occurs while transporting, storage, operation etc.

Item Type

The Item type could be “Raw Material”, “Intermediate”, Utility, “Finished Product” or “Scrap”.

Remarks

Any additional comment pertaining to the formula.

The system displays the following:

Yield ID

The code identifying the yield.

Expression

Expression of the Yield Id used in the formula.

The system displays the following:

Created By

The name of the user who created the formula.

Created Date

The date on which the formula was created.

Last Modified By

The name of the user who last modified the formula.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the formula was last modified
