Using online help

  This page is used to review,revise and authorize the sample statuses of serial controlled items.

Note: Ensure that the details in this page are entered before authorization of serial controlled items.

The “Review Sample Results of Serial Number” page appears.

The system displays the following from the previous page.

Request Number

The code identifying the inspection request.

Origin ID

The code identifying the business process from where the inspection request was received.

Status

The system displays any one of the following statuses.

 

  •  Active

 

  •  Authorized

Item Code

The code identifying the item being inspected.

Variant

The code identifying the variant of the item.

Description

The textual description of the item.

Reference Document Type

The type of reference document that is associated with the inspection request.

Reference Document Number

The number identifying the reference document associated with the request.

Reference Line Number

The number identifying the reference line associated with the request.

Lot Number.

The code identifying the lot to which the item belongs, if the item is lot cum serial controlled.

Inspection Quantity

The quantity of item inspected.

UOM

The unit of measure used to determine the quantity of item inspected.

Quantity Per Sample

The quantity specifying the sample size.

Number of Samples

The value indicating the number of samples that must be inspected

Retention Samples

The value indicating the number of samples retained for some specific reason.

Accepted Quantity

The quantity of item accepted after quality inspection.

Rejected Quantity

The quantity of item rejected after quality inspection.

Held Quantity

The quantity of item held.

Serial Number From

The starting serial number in the multiline for which the sample status must be revised depending on the selection in the “Revised Sample Status” drop-down list box (Alphanumeric, 20).

This field may be left blank, if  you decide to revise the sample status for all the items in the multiline 

Increment To

The number of serial numbers that must be incremented from the starting serial number (Integer).

This field may be left blank, if  you decide to revise the sample status for all the items in the multiline 

Revised Sample Status

Use the drop-down list box, select any one of the following to revise the sample statuses of the items

 

  •  “Accepted”

 

  •  “Rejected”

 

  •  “Held”

The “Revised Sample Status” drop-down list box in the multiline will display the value “Accepted” or  “Rejected” or “Held” depending on the option selected in the “Revised Sample Status” drop-down list box

The system displays the following in the “Serial Number Sample Status” multiline.

Sample Number

The unique sample number of the serial controlled item.

Serial Number

The unique serial number of the serial controlled item.

Sample Status

The status of the sample may be “Accepted” or “Rejected” or “Held” or “Ignored”.

Revised Sample Status

Use the drop-down list box to select any one of the following revised sample statuses

 

  • “Accepted”

 

  • “Rejected”

 

  • "‘Held”

If the sample status is “Ignored”, the “Revised Sample Status” can be “Accepted” or “Rejected” or “Held”

Also, if the sample status is “Accepted” or “Rejected” in the multiline, the “Revised Sample Status” cannot be “Held”.

Remarks

The remarks pertaining to the reviewing sample results of serial number (Alphanumeric,255).

The system updates the status to “Authorized”.
