Final Clearance Feedback - A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to provide feedback on the quality of the item for final clearance. The details of all inspection requests that are of type “In-Process” and having the “Use results for final clearance” field checked in the “Record Inspection Details” page, or those requests that are of type “Quality Clearance” are alone displayed for final clearance.

If the requests have only one sample, they are displayed for final clearance. For requests with more than one sample, the details will be displayed for final clearance only if the samples have been reviewed in the “Review Sample Results” page.

In Final Clearance, the user is allowed to override the system suggested status and the status set by the user in the “Review Sample Status” activity by providing a final status for each attribute. The status of each attribute is determined based on quantitative / qualitative values measured. If the actual value of the quantitative attribute falls between the maximum and minimum acceptable values, then the system sets the final status of the attribute as “Accepted”. Those attributes for which the return type was not defined in the inspection plan will not appear for final clearance.

The “Review Sample Results of Serial Number” page must be entered before authorizing the final clearance feedback details of serial controlled items. This page is used to revise and authorize the sample statuses of serial controlled items
