Using online help

This activity allows you to define the system parameters of the Operations Reporting business component. The numbering type of work reporting, the service type and the receipt method for invoice are set in this activity.

The “Set Function Parameter” page appears.

       - Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.

In the header the mandatory fields are represented as bold and in the multiline the mandatory columns are either bold or displayed in a color other than black.

Work Reporting Numbering Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the numbering type of the work reporting number. The work reporting numbering defined in the “Numbering Type” component will be listed in the combo. The combo will be defaulted with the default value defined in “Numbering Type” component.

Invoice Numbering Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the numbering type of the invoice number. The invoice numbering defined in the “Numbering Type” component will be listed in the combo. The combo will be defaulted with the default value defined in “Numbering Type” component.

Type of Service

Use the drop-down list box to specify the service type. The combo is loaded with “House Keeping” and “Maintenance”. The value selected here will be defaulted as the default value in the Contract and Cost Sheet activities.

Item Category for Manpower Services

Use the drop-down list box to specify the item category for manpower services.

Default UOM for Hours

The default unit of measurement for hours.

Auto Generation of Work Reporting in

Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the auto generated work reporting number.

Capture Actual From Time To TIme

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether to capture the actual from and to time of attendance. The combo is loaded with options “Yes” and “No”.

The system displays the following details in the “Data History” group box:

Created By

The name of the login user who created the system parameter details.

Created Date

The date on which the system parameter was created.

Last Modified By

The name of the login user who modified the system parameter details.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the system parameter details was modified.
