Task Dependency- A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to define a predecessor for a task. A task can have multiple predecessors. You can specify the work break down structure ID and the predecessor work break down structure ID for a task. The minimum completion percentage of a predecessor task can also be specified in this activity, so that a subsequent task can commence.

Task dependency is used at the time of reporting actuals. At the time of reporting, application checks whether the task against which reporting is being done has any predecessor activity / task. This activity allows you to take into account the minimum completion percentage of the predecessor task after which reporting of a succeeding task can happen.
