Generate Subcontract Documents

Through this activity, subcontract request / order documents for the projects can be created. Search for the starting and ending range of the project codes and Work Break Down structure ID’s and generate SCO or SCR. Provision is available to view line items of the project.

Select the “Generate Subcontract Documents” from the “Project Detailing” business component.

The “Generate Subcontract Documents” page appears.

Note: Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.

Enter the following field details in the header:

From Project Code	The starting range of the project code from which you wish to generate the subcontract documents.
To Project Code	The ending range of the project code until which you wish to generate the subcontract documents.
From WBS ID	The starting range of the work break down structure ID from which you wish to generate the subcontract documents.
TO WBS ID	The ending range of the work break down structure ID until which you wish to generate the subcontract documents.
Show Line Items	Select the check box, if you wish to retrieve the line items of the project.

Click the “Search” pushbutton.

The system retrieves and displays the following details in the multiline.

Project Code	A unique code identifying the project code for which you wish to generate the subcontract document.
Project Name	The detailed description of the project.
SCO’s Raised	Indicates the number of sub contract orders raised for the project.
SCR’s Raised	Indicates the number of sub contract request raised for the project.

Note: Either SCO Raised or SCR Raised is visible at a time, SCR raised is visible, if the PPS Feature “Generate SCR from Project Management” is set as “Yes”. SCO raised is visible when the feature is set as “No”.

If the Show Line Items is selected,

The system retrieves and displays the following details in the multiline.

Project Code	A unique code identifying the project code for which you wish to generate the subcontract document.
Project Name	The detailed description of the project.
WBS ID	A unique id. identifying the work break down structure.
Task Code	A unique code identifying the task.
Task Group	The task group to which the task is mapped to.
Task Description	The detailed description of the task.
UOM	The unit of measurement of the task.
Total Qty	The total task quantity.

To proceed, carry out the following

Select the “Generate SC. Request/Order” hyperlink from the bottom of the page.
Select the “Generate Subcontract Release Slip” hyperlink from the bottom of the page to generate the subcontract release slip.
Select the “View Generated Documents” hyperlink from the bottom of the page to view the generated documents.
