Basics of using Ramco Enterprise Series web page

Using Online Help

This activity allows you to create the category and sub-category codes for specifying the project development and construction details. You can specify the purpose, category, sub category, code, description, status and the sequence details. You can also retrieve the details of the codes already defined by selecting the appropriate Purpose and Category details. On selection, the system refreshes the page and displays the corresponding code details in the multiline. Based on the usage, you can activate/inactivate a code.

The “Categories Master” page appears.

Note:  Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.

Purpose

Use the drop-down list box to select the purpose for specifying the project development and construction cost details. The combo is loaded with “Category” and “Sub-Category”. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.

Category

Use the drop-down list box to select the category. The combo is loaded with the values based on the selection of the Purpose. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.

Sub-Category For

Use the drop-down list box to select the sub category for specifying the direct construction or indirect construction cost. The combo is loaded with the values based on the selection of Category. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.

Code

A unique code identifying the cost category.

Description

The detailed description of the cost category.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the category. The combo is loaded with “Active” and “Inactive”. The system displays “Active” by default on launch of the page.

Sequence No

A unique number identifying the sequence number of the category.
