Project Planning - An Overview
Introduction
Project Planning component allows you to plan the overall cost which incurs in a project. You can specify the sales and total construction cost details of the project. You can define the different categories of income/expenditure details, map the same to an account code and set targets to plan and compare the actuals with regard to common measures of a project. This also facilitates distributing the defined income or expenditure heads for multiple groups in a project. You can distribute the defined amount under a particular income/expenditure heads on number of units or on direct percentage basis to project/plan for a defined project tenure and frequency. For a financial year, monthly or quarterly projection helps to arrive at planning the project status. You can also compare the planned vs actual projections of a project.
