In most business scenarios, as a part of cash management system a company would prefer to pay it suppliers at the latest date to avail the discount and the penalty criteria. Tell me more
Select the “Supplier Due Date Analysis” link under the “Reports – Payables Management” business component.
The “Supplier Due Date Analysis” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:
Company Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the company in which the supplier has been defined. All the companies that are in the “Active” status and have been mapped to the login organization unit will be available for selection. |
Business Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the business unit in which supplier has been defined. All the business units that are in the “Active” status and have been mapped to the selected company will be available for selection. |
Currency |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the currency in which you want to view the due date analysis report. All the currency codes that have been assigned to the login company will be available for selection. The system displays “All” by default on launch of the page. |
Supplier Group From |
Use the drop-down list box to select the supplier group from which you want to view the due date analysis. All the supplier group codes that have been defined for the selected group type will be available for selection. |
To |
Use the drop-down list box to select the supplier group till which you want to view the due date analysis. All the supplier group codes that have been defined for the selected group type will be available for selection. |
Report Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of report you want to print. The Report types available for selection are “Summary” and “Details”. The system displays “Details” by default on the launch of the page. |
Supplier Code From |
The starting code in the range of codes identifying the suppliers for whom you want to view the report (Alphanumeric, 18). Mandatory. |
Supplier Code To |
The ending code in the range of codes identifying the suppliers for whom you want to view the report (Alphanumeric, 18). Mandatory. |
Report ID |
Select the check box to print the report ID in all the pages of the report. |
Payment Processing Point From |
Use the drop-down list box to select the point where the payments were being processed from which you want to view the report. All the processing points that have been defined in the login organization unit and all other organization units in which the login organization unit is mapped and in which other payables management components are deployed will be available for selection. |

Use the drop-down list box to select the time duration for which you want to view the due date analysis report. You can select from “Financial Year”, “Calendar Year” or “Date Range”. The system displays “Date Range” by default on launch of the page. |
Financial Year |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the financial year for which you want to view the due date analysis report. All the financial years defined for the finance books mapped to the selected business unit will be available for selection. |
Note: A financial year must not be selected if “Date Range” is selected in the “Date Option” field.
Financial Period |
Use the drop-down list box to select the financial period for which you want to view the due date analysis report. All the financial periods that have been defined for the selected year will be available for selection. The system displays the start date and the end date of the financial period along with the code identifying the financial period. |
Note: A financial period must not be selected if “Date Range” is selected in the “Date Option” field.
Calendar Year |
Use the drop-down list box to select the calendar year for which you want to view the due date analysis report. All the calendar years based on the defined financial years will be available for selection. For example if the financial year is from April 2001 to March 2002, the calendar year 2001 and 2002 will be available for selection. |
Note: A calendar year must be selected only if “Calendar Year” is selected in the “Date Option” field.
Month |
Use the drop-down list box to select the month for which you want to view the due date analysis report. All the twelve months of a calendar year will be available for selection. The system displays “Jan” by default on launch of the page. |
Note: A month must be selected only if “Calendar Year” is selected in the “Date Option” field.
Date From |
The starting date in the date range for which you want to view the due date analysis report (Date Format). The date entered in this field must be before the date entered in the “To” field. |
Note: This field must be left blank if “Financial Year” is selected in the “Date Option” field.
To |
The ending date in the date range for which you want to view the due date analysis report (Date Format). The system date is displayed by default on launch of the page. |

The starting date in the date range during which the documents were due for payment (Date Format). |

Click the “View Due Date Analysis” pushbutton to view the report.
The system prints the supplier due date analysis report based on the values entered in the search criteria.
Supplier Due Date Analysis – An overview
This also ensures that the cash resources of the company are intact. To ensure that the discounts are availed on time, a company will require a reporting tool, which would retrieve the payment due date, dates on which discounts are eligible and the dates of the payment by which the penalty can be avoided. You can also have the facility to retrieve this report based on the supplier, supplier group, documents and so on.
You can search by selecting the company and the corresponding business unit for which you want to view the due date analysis report. You can also search by specifying a range of groups and a range of codes identifying the suppliers for whom you want to view the due date analysis report. You can also select the currency in which you want to view the due date analysis report. You can also select the report type and choose the point where the payments were being processed. You can also select a particular date option where you can select a specific financial year, financial period, calendar and month to view the listing report. The system retrieves the due date analysis report based on the search criteria entered.
