Edit Tax Type – Tax Region Mapping

This page allows you to edit tax type tax region mapping already made. You can also authorize the modifications made. When Tax type - Tax Region combination is attached to the “draft” status years, the status will change to “Fresh”. When all the Tax type - Tax Region are detached from the year the status of the year will revert to “Draft”. When a declaration year is deleted, Tax type - Tax Region combination attached to the currently deleted year will be unmapped from the subsequent fresh years to which they are attached and the status of those unmapped Declaration years would become 'Draft' or 'Fresh' as the case may be.

The “Edit Tax Type – Tax Region Mapping” page appears with data as follows under “Declaration Year Details” group heading:
The system displays details in the following fields in the “Declaration Year Details” group box:

Declaration Year |
The declaration year selected in the “Authorize Declaration Calendar” page. |

Status |
The corresponding status of the declaration year. |

Description |
The description of the declaration year. |
“Multiline Details” multiline displays the “Tax Type - Tax Region” combinations corresponding to the chosen declaration year.
Modify following fields in the “Multiline Details” if required:

Tax Type |
Use the drop-down list to, select the required tax type to modify tax type -tax region mapping. The system loads the list box with all the tax types for which tax region is mapped. Mandatory. Tax type is the type of tax for example VAT and TDS. |

Tax Region |
The place where the tax declaration is required to be made (Alphanumeric, 25) Mandatory. A tax type-tax region can be mapped to only one declaration year at any point of time.. |
Click the “Edit” pushbutton to save the modification.
Click “Edit & Authorize” push button to save and authorize the modification.
On clicking the edit or edit and authorize button the mapping as edited would be saved, or saved and authorized as the case may be. The page refreshes with the edited data.
The system also displays details in the following fields at the bottom of the page:

Created By |
The login ID of the user who created the mapping. |

Created Date |
The date on which the mapping was created. |
|
Last Modified By |
The login ID of the user who last modified the mapping. |
|
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the mapping was last modified. |
