Authorize Declaration Calendar – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to modify, modify & authorize, or delete the declaration calendar year details. This activity also lets you modify the tax type- tax region combination mapped to the declaration year. Declaration calendar needs to be authorized after creation to enable transactions to be incorporated.

Years in “Fresh” status can be authorized. On authorization the status of the declaration year will become 'Active'. Declaration years in “Fresh” and “Draft” statuses can be deleted. When a declaration year is deleted, Tax type - Tax Region combination attached to the currently deleted year will be unmapped from the subsequent “fresh” years to which they are attached and the status of those unmapped declaration years would become 'Draft' or 'Fresh' as the case may be.

The system saves the changes made and notes the ID of the user and the system date and displays both these information at the bottom of the page until the next modification, if any, is carried out. +
