Maintain Property Relation
Select the “Maintain Property Relation” activity under the “Customer Property Relations” business component.
The “Maintain Property Relation” page appears.
- Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help
page of the respective field.
To create property relation
Enter the following in the “Relation Details” group box:

Scheme Code |
The code identifying the scheme which is to be related to the customer. |
The system displays the following:
|
Scheme Name |
The name of the scheme. |
Enter the following in the “Relation Details” multiline:
|
Reservation |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether to reserve the property or not for the customer. The combo is loaded with options “Yes” and “No”. |

Queue No |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the queue number. The combo is loaded with values when customer property relation is created. |
Note: Queue No combo is loaded with 1 when a relation ID is created. When another customer comes in and reserves the same property, then the combo is incremented with 1 for the same relation ID. On selecting the queue number, the respective customer details will be displayed in the header.

Effective Till |
The date until which the relation is valid. |

Reserved By |
The code identifying the person who reserves the property for the customer. Mandatory when the “Reservation” combo is selected as “Yes”. |

Reserved For |
The code identifying the customer for whom the property is reserved. |
|
Customer Code |
The code identifying the customer who reserves the property. Mandatory when the “Reservation” combo is selected as “No”. |
Note: When the “Reservation” combo is selected as “Yes”, then either Reserved For or Customer Code should be entered.
The system displays the following:

Customer Name |
The name of the customer. |
Enter the following in the “Property Details” multiline:

Property No |
A unique number identifying the property which belongs to the scheme code entered in the header and which is to be brought into the relation. |
The system displays the following in the multiline:

Floor |
The floor in which the property exists. |
|
Block |
The block to which the property belongs. |
|
Tower |
The tower to which the block belongs. |
|
Unit |
The unit in which the property exists. |
|
Property Type |
Indicates the type of property. |
Enter the following in the multiline:

Registration Date |
The date on which the property is to be registered. |
Click the “Maintain” button to save (create/modify) the property relations details.
The system generates the Relation ID and Unique No when the property is not reserved. The system generates only the Relation ID when the property is reserved.
The system displays the following in the “Relation Details” group box:

Relation ID |
The relation ID created when a customer reserves a property. |

Property |
The property numbers and the scheme code is concatenated and displayed here. |
|
Status |
The status of the relation ID |
|
Unique No |
The unique number generated when the property is blocked by a customer. |
To break a property relation
Enter the following in the “Relation Details” group box:

Relation ID |
The relation ID created when a customer reserves a property. Press<Enter> key. The system displays the details in the header and in the multiline. |
Click the “Break” button to break the relation.
Note: Only relations in unallocated status can be broken. Properties get disassociated automatically from the relation ID. When the relation ID is associated with a unique no, status of unique no also changes to cancelled.
To authorize a property relation
Enter the following in the “Relation Details” group box:

The relation ID created when a customer reserves a property. Press<Enter> key. The system displays the details in the header and in the multiline. |
Click the “Authorize Reservation” button to authorize the reservation.
The reservation is authorized successfully only when the Reservation combo is “Yes”.
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the “Maintain Customer Property Mapping” link to maintain the customer property mapping details.
Select the “Attach Notes” link to specify any additional notes regarding the property relation.
Select the “Property Substitution” link to maintain the property substitution details.
The system displays the following in the “Data History” group box:

Created By |
The login ID of the user who created the property relation details. |

Created Date |
The date on which the property relation details was created. |
|
Last Modified By |
The login ID of the user who modified the property relation details. |
|
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the property relation details was last modified. |
