This activity allows you to view the forecast error details occurred. The error details can be viewed when the forecast details are uploaded through excel sheet. You can select the forecast group by entering it if known or by using the help facility to view the error details. The system retrieves the corresponding forecast error details in the multiline. The error (if any) identified for the forecast is displayed in the multiline.
You also have the option to delete the records displayed in the multiline. You can select the records and initiate the delete operation to delete the records.
Select the “View Forecast Error Log” link under the “Demand Planning“ business component.
The “View Forecast Error Log” page appears.
Enter the following:

Forecast Group |
The code identifying the forecast group for which forecast error details are displayed. Mandatory. |

Press <Enter> key. |

The system ensures that the forecast group should exist in the forecast group masters and should not be left blank. The system retrieves the details for the specified forecast group. |

Click the “Get” pushbutton to retrieve the forecast error details in the multiline.
The system displays the following in the “Forecast Details” multiline:

Forecast Ref. |
The reference number identifying the forecast defined. |

Item Type |
The type of the item. |
|
Plg. Group |
The code identifying the planning group. |
|
Item Code |
The code identifying the item. |
|
Variant Code |
The code or number identifying the variant of the item. |

Desc. |
The description of the item. |
|
Forecast Plant |
The forecast plant where the forecast item is identified. |
|
Forecast Warehouse |
The code identifying the forecast warehouse where the forecast item is identified. |

Time Bucket |
The time bucket that represents the period of the forecast created. The system retrieves “Daily”, “Weekly” or “Monthly”. |

Anchor Date |
The start date from which the forecast demands are generated. |

No. of Buckets |
The number of periods for which the forecast demands is generated. |
|
Bucket Qty. |
The quantity that represents the forecast quantity of the item for each bucket. |
|
Confidence % |
The percentage that represents the confidence level of the forecast. |
|
Total Qty. |
The total quantity of the item for which the forecast demands is generated. |
|
Error Desc. |
The description identifying the error (if any) defined for the forecast. |
Click the “Delete” pushbutton to delete the selected rows in the “Forecast Details” multiline.

The login ID of the user who created the forecast error log. |

The date on which the forecast error log was created. |

Edited By |
The login ID of the user who modified the forecast error log. |

The date on which the forecast error log was modified. |
