Demand Planning – An overview

Introduction

Demand planning enables you to create quality demand forecasts with collaborative inputs from both employees and trading partners. Good demand planning helps in increasing forecast accuracy and production efficiency so that inventory levels can be lowered and dramatically improve customer service.  You can configure rules for forecast consumption, compare the forecast to the actual demands, and analyze over consumption. You can also upload the forecasts from an excel sheet.
