This page allows you to view the items under engineering change. The system retrieves the engineering change details from the main page. The corresponding item details for the engineering change request are retrieved in the multiline. You have also been provided with links to view the components, process plans under change and the implementation details of the engineering change request.
Select the “View Item Revision” link at the bottom of the page.
The “View Item Revision” page appears.
The system displays the following:

The number identifying the engineering change request. |

ECR Desc. |
The description of the engineering change request. |

Zoom facility available. |
|

ECR Status |
The status of the engineering change request. It can be "Active", "Inactive", "Authorized", "Resolved" or "Implemented". |

EC Need Date |
The date on which the engineering change is required. |
|
ECR Type |
The type of the engineering change request. It can be "Engineering", "Production", "Subcontracting" or "All". |

Item Code |
The code identifying the item undergoing the revision. |

Variant Code |
The code or number identifying the variant of the item. |

Current Rev. No. |
The number identifying the current revision number of the item variant specified. |

Current Short Desc. |
The current short description of the item variant specified. |

Current Item Desc. |
The current description of the item. |

New Rev. No. |
The revision number identifying the item variant undergoing engineering changes. The system increments “1” by default from the current revision number. |

New Short Desc. |
The new short description of the item variant specified. |
|
New Item Desc. |
The new description of the item. |

Effective From |
The date from which the item revision is valid. |
|
Effective To |
The date till which the item revision is valid. |

Select the “View Component Revision” link at the bottom of the page to view the component revision details.
Select the “View Process Revision” link at the bottom of the page to view the process Plan revision details.
Select the “View Implement Engineering Change” link at the bottom of the page to view the implementation details of engineering changes.
