You can map each planning bill to a bill of resource. You can search for a planning group or item using the search criteria to link to a bill of resource. You can also make use of the search criteria to retrieve the planning bill details in the multiline. You can search based on planning group or item, item type and group, control unit and plant. You can also select the source of the item either “Manufacture” or “Sub-Contract” or “Purchase” and default the given bill of resource for all the planning bills in the multiline. The same details can be displayed in the multiline. On entering the necessary details in the search criteria, the system retrieves the planning group, item and product structure details in the multiline.

You can link the bill of resource if the planning bill has been defined for a planning group or product structure of the item for the same plant and unit of measure. You can initiate the link by entering the bill of resource or make use of the help facility to select the relevant bill of resource. The system establishes a link between the bill of resource and planning bill.
