Basics of using Ramco Enterprise series web page

Using online help

This page allows the user to maintain and record the time and expenses allocated on a particular date by a particular sales person.

The daily reporting activities like the type of the activity and the number of hours spent on that activity could be maintained in this page. The details of the expenses incurred during the activity can also be specified.

The “Time Allocation and Expenses” page appears.

The system displays the following details in the header:

Date

The date corresponding to the week number and the day of the week.

Sales Person Code

The code identifying the sales person.

Sales Person Name

The name identifying the sales person.

The system displays the following details in the “Daily Reporting” group box:

Customer Face Time

The number identifying the time spent with the customer. This is calculated as the total time spent as entered in the  activities planned other than the personal activities.

Total Reported Time

The total time reported by the sales person. This time is the sum of Customer face time and “Other time spent” for the specified date.

Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the active type of the category (Alphanumeric, 40). The system populates the list box with values that are defined under category LM_Type of the “Category Master” business component which is in the active status. The system displays blank by default on the launch of the page.

Hours

The number of hours spent otherwise (Integer).

Remarks

Remarks, if any (Alphanumeric, 1000).

Distance Driven (Business)

The total Distance driven on business account (Integer).

Distance Driven (Private)

The total Distance driven on private account (Integer).

The system displays the following details in the “Expenses” group box:

Total Distance  Reported

The sum of Distance driven on business account and private account.

Expense Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the active type of the category (Alphanumeric, 40). The system displays blank by default on the launch of the page. The system populates the list box with values that are defined under category LM_Type of the “Category Master” business component, which is in the active status.

Amount

The amount spent on other expenses (Integer).

Currency

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of currency used (Alphanumeric, 5). The system populates the list box with all the currency values that are mapped to the financial company. The system displays blank by default on the launch of the page.

Exchange Rate

The number identifying the exchange rate for the selected currency to the base currency (Integer).

Opportunity ID

The code identifying the opportunity  (Alphanumeric, 18).

 

Press <Enter> key.

 

The system ensures that this field is not left blank and checks for the validity of the entered code and retrieves the details for the project code, else, the system throws an error message.

A textual description of the opportunity.

The system displays the following details in the “Other Expenses” multiline:

Amount In Base Currency

The number identifying the amount in base currency.

Note: Amount in Base Currency = Amount * exchange rate

Base Currency

The code identifying the base currency. The system displays the default base currency.

Remarks

Remarks, if any.

The system displays the following details:

Total Other Expenses

The number identifying the sum of the amount in base currency for all the rows entered in the multiline.

The system saves all allocated time and expenses details for a specific date in the weekly plan activity.
