Create BSO Release Note – A Summary of the activity

This activity allows you to generate release notes against a blanket sale order (BSO). By default, a BSO, which is to be released, is assigned the "Open" status. The release note number is generated automatically based on the numbering series selected as prefix and “year” as suffix. The release date will be the system date and can be modified. You can enter a contract number for which the details are populated from the “Create Contract” activity. This activity also allows you to calculate the price of the ordered item.

For a selected BSO line number and schedule line number, the shipping and the release details used to generate the release note can be recorded using this page. The sale order will be automatically generated on submission of all the details in this activity. The generated sale order number will be displayed in the appropriate field in this activity.
