Hidden View Definition

This page allows you to define the hidden control in the ILBO.
Select the “Hidden View Definition” hyperlink at the bottom of the “Control” tab in ILBO-X Designer page.
The “Hidden View Definition” page appears.
The system displays the following in the “ilbo details” group box.

Component Description |
The name of the component. |
|
Component Name |
The description of the component name. |
|
Activity Description |
The name of the activity. |
|
Activity Name |
The description of the activity name. |
|
ILBO Description |
The name of the ILBO code. |
|
ILBO Name |
The description of the ILBO Code. |
Enter the following details in the “Page And Section Details” group box:

Description |
Use the drop-down list box to select the description of the page name. The combo is loaded with values as defined in the “Page” tab of the “ILBO-X Designer” screen. |
The system displays the following in the “Page And Section Details” group box.

Page Name |
The name of the page. |
Enter the following details in the “Page And Section Details” group box:

Section Description |
Use the drop-down list box to select the description of the section name. The combo is loaded with values as defined in the “Section” tab of the “ILBO-X Designer” screen. |
The system displays the following in the “Page And Section Details” group box.

Section Name |
The name of the section. |
Enter the following details in the multiline:

Hidden View Name |
The name of the hidden view control to be created. |
Note:
1. You cannot reuse the same control name in the entire design process.
2. You can reuse already defined business term for a new control name.
3. You can create new control name and business term for a control.

Business Term |
Use the drop-down list box to select the required business term for the hidden control. The combo is loaded with the values as defined in the “Masters”. |

Data Type |
Use the drop-down list to select the required data type for the hidden control. The combo is loaded with the values as defined in the “Masters”. |
|
Length |
The total visibility length of the control. |
|
Precision Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the precision type for the hidden control. The combo is loaded with the values as defined in the “Masters”. |

Linked Control |
Use the drop-down list box to select the linked control to be mapped with the hidden control. The combo is loaded with all controls defined for the ILBO. |
The system displays the following in the multiline.

Linked View |
The name of the linked control defaulted based on the control selected in the combo. |
|
Control Type |
The control type for the linked control defaulted based on the control selected in the combo. |
|
Caption |
The detailed description of the linked control defaulted based on the control selected in the combo. |
|
Base Artifact |
The system indicates whether the hidden control is base control or extension control. |
Click the “Save” pushbutton to save the details of the hidden control which is mapped to the linked control.
