Resolve Links

This page allows the user to publish the data items from the child screen and subscribe the data items to the parent screen. You can publish the control data item name by specifying the flow direction as In, Out or InOut to the parent window.

Select the hyperlinked Link Name in the “Specify Links” tab of the ILBO-X Designer page.

The “Resolve Links” page appears.

The system displays the following in the “child” group box.

Component Description	The component name of the child screen.
Component Name	The description of the component name.
Activity Description	The activity name of the child screen.
Activity Name	The description of the activity name.
ILBO Description	The ilbo name of the child screen.
ILBO Code	The description of the ilbo name.
Context Switch (Please Clarify)	Select the check box,

Enter the following details in the multiline:

Pub Control Name

Use the drop-down list box to select the control name to publish with the parent screen. The combo is loaded with all the controls as specified in the child screen.

The system displays the following in the multiline.

View Name

The control name of the child screen.

Enter the following details in the multiline:

Publish Data Item	The data item name of the control which is to be mapped against the parent screen control.
Transfer	Use the drop-down list box to select the flow direction of the publisher control. The combo is loaded with “In”, “Out” and “InOut”. The system displays “In” by default on launch of the page.

The system displays the following in the multiline.

Base Artifact	Indicates that the control is base control or extended control.
Section Name	The publisher control section name.
Page Name	The publisher control page name.

Click the “Save Publish Data” button to save the publisher control details.

The system displays the following in the “Parent” group box.

Component Description	The component name of the parent screen.
Component Name	The description of the component name.
Activity Description	The activity name of the parent screen.
Activity Name	The description of the activity name.
ILBO Description	The ilbo name of the parent screen.
ILBO Code	The description of the ilbo name.

Control Name

Use the drop-down list box to select the control name to subscribe the data with the child screen. The combo is loaded with all the controls as specified in the parent screen.

The system displays the following in the multiline.

View Name	The control name of the parent screen.
Published Data Item	The published data item name of the control.
