The system displays the following detail in the “Resource Details” multiline:
Res Seq. |
The sequence number identifying the position sequence of the resource attached to the bill of resource automatically generated by the system. |
Enter the following details in the “Resource Details” multiline:
Resource No. |
The number identifying the resource. Mandatory |
Press <Enter> key. |
|
The resource should not be left blank and should exist in the resource master. The resource should be valid and should be in “Active” status. The system retrieves the resource details for the resource. |

The system checks the status of the bill of resource. If the status is “Draft”, then the system creates a link with the planning bill if the bill of resource has been defined for a planning group for the same plant and uom. The system also saves the details with PP status as “Draft”. The system ensures that at least one row in the multiline should be present. The system saves the bill of resource details.
The login user ID and the system date are updated in the “Created By” and “Created Date” fields.

Create Bill of Resources – An overview
The planner may or may not have access to the production planning. In such a case, you need to prepare the bill of resources for the planning group or the item code. The bill of resource is used in the planning layer to plan for the resources and the activities attached to the planning group or the item code.
You can capture the resource and the activity details by entering the same in the multiline. The capacity and time details also forms a part of the definition. A bill is identified as belonging to a particular user defined type. These types help in finding when details on a particular bill of resource are required. A bill of resource is similar to process plan that identifies the activities and their arrangement during actual production.
You can make use of this screen to determine the bill of resource to be created for a group of resources for long term planning either for a planning group or an item. Necessary help screens are provided to search and retrieve the bill of resource, planning group, item, production unit of measure and resource details. On entering the necessary details, you can create the bill of resource for a planning group or an item.
