Authorize Quotation – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to authorize the selected quotation. You can carry out a search process for selecting the quotation for authorization. Modification of the selected quotation details before authorization is also allowed in this activity. Only those quotations that are in “Fresh” or “Amended” status are populated in the multiline. Multiple quotations can be authorized at the same time.

The details of the selected quotation can be saved before authorizing it. This activity also allows you to return the selected quotation for modification if there are changes to be made to the quotation. The status of the quotation that is sent back for modification is set to “Returned”. The system stores the login user ID and the system date along with the authorized details.

This activity also facilitates you to modify additional details pertaining to quotation, the schedule details for the items to be shipped, TCD details for each line item, the TCD details for the whole document, the VAT details, the details of the price break based on the quantity of item ordered, the details of the promotions for the ordered items, the attribute details pertaining to each line item, and to modify important textual information related to Quotation before authorizing the quotation.
