Basics of using Ramco Enterprise series web page

Using online help

This page allows you to carry out a search for selecting the query for which the details are to be viewed. You can search by specifying the quotation or query number. You can also specify the status of the quotation, the customer details or by specifying the type of query. You can also search by selecting the appropriate check box to retrieve the corresponding query details. The system retrieves and displays the result of the search process in the multiline.

The “Select Query” page appears.

Quotation No .

The number identifying the quotation (Alphanumeric, 18).

Query No.

The number identifying the query (Integer).

Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the query. You can select from “All”, “Pending” or “Closed”. The system displays “All” by default on launch of the page. 

Customer Code

The code identifying the customer (Alphanumeric, 18). 

Customer Name

The name of the customer (Alphanumeric, 60).

Query Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the query from the customer. you can select from “All’, “Commercial”, “Technical” or “General”. The system displays “All” by default  on launch of the page.

Item Based Query

This check box is selected if the queries pertaining to item specified in the quotation are to be viewed.

Doc. Based Query

This check box is selected if the queries specified for the document as a whole are to be viewed.

If the checkbox “Item Based Queries” is selected, then the system retrieves all the query numbers that are item based only.

If the “Document Based Queries” checkbox is selected, then the system populates only document based queries to the multiline.

If both check boxes are selected then the system displays all the item and document based queries.

The system displays the following details in the “Search Results” multiline:

Quotation No..

The number identifying the quotation.

Query No.

The number identifying the query.

Query Type

The type of the query from the customer. It can be “Commercial”, “Technical” or “General”.

Status

The status of the query. It can be either “Pending” or “Closed”.
