Close Work Order – A summary of the activity
You can close the work orders that are in “Order or Activity finished” status. In order to close the specified work order, you can specify the details in the search criteria and retrieve the corresponding work orders in the multiline. The system closes the selected work orders upon satisfying the following conditions:
4 All activities must have been reported as completed.
4 The reporting for all input/output items must be complete and also the quantity must have been reported as completed in respective reporting screens.
4 The costs must have been successfully accumulated for the work order.
4 The required transactions for all items with respect to inventory must be complete.
4 For each input item, if the total item issued from inventory should be less than or equal to the negative demand tolerance as specified in the Work Order Product Structure.
4 For each primary output item, if the total accepted quantity produced at the last activity in the process plan and the total rejected quantity produced in all activities should be less than or equal to the negative receipt tolerance as specified in the Work Order Product Structure.
4 For other output item, if the total accepted quantity produced and the total rejected quantity produced should be less than or equal to the negative receipt tolerance as specified in the Work Order Product Structure.
The work orders can be short closed for the activity status set as “Started”. The errors (if any) during work order closure can be viewed using the link provided at the bottom of the page. You can select the work orders in the multiline and initiate the close operation. When an order is successfully closed the order status is changed to “Closed” in the header and the status of each activity in the work order process plan is also changed to “Closed”. The work order can be closed by choosing either online or batch mode of execution. In online mode, work order can be closed immediately. In batch mode, it can be closed during scheduling batch services. You can make use of the link at the bottom of the page to view the batch error log details attached to the work order.
