Sales Office Desktop – Component Overview

Introduction

This component supports the sales office persons to resolve ambiguous issues by interacting with the customer so that comprehensive requests and orders are created.

The Request For Quotation placed by the customer in ‘Place RFQ’ activity in Customer Portal component is transferred to the Sales Office Desktop and verified through ‘Manage Request for Quotation’ activity. The Purchase Order placed by the customer in ‘Place Direct Orders’ activity in customer portal component is transferred to the Sales Office Desktop and verified through ‘Manage Orders’ activity. Similarly the Queries posted by the customers in ‘Customer Queries’ activity is transferred to Sales Office Desktop and response is given for the queries in “Manage Customer Queries’ activity.
