Specify Stock Transfer Order Item Attribute
This page allows you to specify the attribute details for a selected Order line number. Tell me more.
Select the "Specify Item Attribute" link at the bottom of "Create Stock Transfer Order" page.
The “Specify Stock Transfer Order Item Attribute” page appears.
The system populates the following details associated with the Order number from the main page:
Status |
The status of the stock transfer order. |
Order No. |
The unique number identifying the stock transfer order. |
Order Date |
The date on which the stock transfer order was created. |
Shipping Point |
The point identifying the location from where the items specified in the stock transfer order are shipped. |
Shipping Warehouse Code |
The code identifying the warehouse at the shipping location from where the items must be shipped. |
Enter the following field:
Order Line No. |
Use the drop-down list box to select the line number identifying the stock transfer order Mandatory. The system defaults all the line number associated with the defaulted order number having attribute flag set as “Yes”. The system displays the “Smallest Order Line Number” by default on launch of the page. |
The system populates the following field details in the “Item Details” group box based on the Order line number selected:
Item Code |
The code identifying the line item. |
Variant Code |
The code identifying the item variant. |
Item Variant Desc. |
The description of the item variant. |
Zoom facility available. |
Enter the following fields in the “Attribute Details” multiline:
Attribute Code |
The code identifying the attribute (Alphanumeric, 6) Mandatory. |
Help facility available. |
The system displays the following details for a valid attribute code entered:
Attribute Desc. |
The description of the item attribute. |
Attribute Type |
The type of attribute. It can be either “Quantitative” or “Qualitative”. Quantitative indicates that the attribute is of numerical type and it can have a minimum and maximum value. Qualitative means that the attribute is of a descriptive type. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement of the item that is used to define attribute. |
Enter the following details:
Min. Quantitative Value |
The minimum value for a quantitative attribute (Integer). |
Max. Quantitative Value |
The maximum value for a quantitative attribute (Integer). |
Qualitative Value |
The value for a qualitative attribute (Alphanumeric, 12). If "Attribute Type" is qualitative, then the system ensures that this field is not left blank. It also checks if one of the values is attached to the item-variant attribute in the “Item Administration” business component. |
Note: The system checks whether there is at least one row entry in the multiline. It also checks if the item-variant is mapped to the entered "Attribute Code". If "Attribute Type" is quantitative then both "Minimum Quantitative Value" and "Maximum Quantitative Value" should not be left blank.
Click the “Save Item Attribute” pushbutton to save the attribute details added for the selected order line number.
The details associated with the order number and order line numbers are saved. If both qualitative and quantitative values are filled, then the system neglects the value that does not match the "Attribute Type".
The system also ensures that the maximum and minimum quantitative values specified are within the limits of minimum and maximum value attached to the item variant-attribute from “Item Administration” business component. It also ensures that if the attribute type is set to qualitative then the system checks if any one of the values is attached to the item variant attribute from “Item Administration” business component.
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the “Create Order Schedule” link at the bottom of the page to add the schedule details.
Select the “Attach Notes” link at the bottom of the page to attach notes.
Select the “View Item Attribute Details” link at the bottom of the page to view item attribute details.
Specify Order Item Attribute – An Overview
The attributes pertaining to the items are of two types namely “Qualitative” and “Quantitative”. Quantitative denotes that the attribute is of numerical type. Qualitative indicates that the attribute is of a descriptive type. Example: Color, Fragrance, Shape.
The Order line number is selected for which the attribute details are to be added. Based on the Order line number entered, the item details are populated from the main page. On entering the Attribute Code, the details pertaining to the Attribute Code are displayed in the multiline. Depending on the attribute type displayed, the Quantitative or Qualitative Value is entered. The links at the bottom of the page allows you to record schedule details and notes.
