In addition, if the create day type is checked, then the system creates a day type using the timetable number as the day type number. |
The system displays the following:
|
Total Time (Hrs) |
The total working hours of a timetable obtained by adding the total working time of each shift into which the timetable is divided. The total time for the total shift details is calculated as sum of the net working time for the total shifts and the net break time for the total shifts. |
|
Break Time (Hrs) |
The total break hours of a timetable obtained by adding the total break time of each shift into which the timetable is divided. The break time for the total shift details is calculated as the sum of all the break time per shifts. |

Enter the following in the “Shift Details” multiline:
|
Shift |
The number identifying the shift. This field can be defined with the same number in different rows when the shift has to be defined for more than one time period Mandatory. The shift number should be any one of the following values “1”, “2” or “3”. The number should not be less than the previous shift number. |
|
Seq. No. |
The number of a particular time period in a shift Mandatory. The sequence number should not be left blank and should be greater than zero. The number should not be less than or equal to the previous sequence number of the same shift. |
|
Start Time |
The start time of the time period Mandatory. The start time should not be left blank and should be in valid time format (24 Hour). The format is represented as “Hours:Minutes”. The start time of a shift cannot be earlier than the end time of previous shift. |
|

|
Time Type |

| |
| |
| |
|
Efficiency Factor |
The efficiency factor associated with the time type defined for a time period of a shift. The efficiency with which the work is done during that time period. The efficiency factor should be between “0.00” and “10.00”. If the efficiency factor is not specified and the time type is selected as “Work” in any of the selected row, then the system defaults this field to “1”. If the efficiency factor is not specified and the time type is selected as “Break” then the system defaults this field to “0”. |
|
Cost Factor |
The cost factor associated with the time type defined for a time period of a shift. The value with which the cost of the activities during the time period has to be multiplied. The cost factor should be between “0.00” and “10.00”. If the cost factor is not specified and the time type is selected as “Work” in any of the selected row, then the system defaults this field to “1”. If the cost factor is not specified and the time type is selected as “Break” then the system defaults this field to “0”. |
Note: If the time type is set to “Break” then the efficiency factor and cost factor should be “0.00”.
The system displays the following in the “Shift Details” multiline:
|
Total Time |
The difference between the end time and the start time for a time period. The total time is calculated as the sum of the net working time and break time for each row. The total time per shift is calculated as the sum of the net working time per shift and net break time per shift. The summarized shift details are populated onto the multiline before each shift with the Seq No set to “Zero”. |
Note: The shift summary records are created automatically by the system in the multiline, while the overall summary for all shifts is maintained as part of header. In case of creating a new timetable by copying the existing time table no, then the system ignores all the rows with the Seq No set to “ Zero".
|
Break Time |
The break time is the difference between the end time and start time of a sequence number or row where the time type is defined as “Break”. The net working time is set zero for this row. |
|
Net Working Time |
The net working time is the difference between the end time and start time of a sequence number or row where the time type is defined as “Working”. The break time is set zero for this row. If the start previous day is checked then for example, if the first shift 1st Seq No starts at 23.03 Hours and ends at 13:00 Hours, then the total working time should be 14 Hours. |
Click the “Create Shift Details” pushbutton to create the shift details.
The system ensures that the login user should have “All” access permission to the “Maintained By” control unit and at least one shift should exist. The system checks the status of the timetable.
