Create Receivables Account Definition – A summary of the activity
|
This activity allows you to define customer receivable accounts. Customer accounts are defined in two different ways based on the Customer class that is Internal or External.
External Customer Account Definition – An external customer account can be defined based on the combination of a finance book, customer account group and the account currency. Customers are grouped under a customer account group based certain specific parameters in the “Customer” business component. For every combination of customer account group, finance book and currency, a customer receivables account, customer prepayment account and customer deposits account can be mapped.
Internal Customer Account Definition – An internal customer account can be defined for customers who are either a part of a different business unit of the same company or a different company. For every combination of currency, source business unit, destination company and destination business unit, a customer receivables account, customer prepayment account and customer deposits account can be mapped.
This activity also allows you to define a TCD account for a customer. The created customer account definitions and the default accounts already mapped can also be viewed in this activity.
