Create Service Account Definition - A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to define Service accounts for the WIP Account, Expense Account and Revenue Account. Account definition for the WIP accounts used by Material Issue Component. Account definition for the Expense accounts used by Service Work Order Component.

The system saves the account defined along with the effective from date.

Getting familiar with the pages inside

Prerequisites

• “Account Code” must have been defined in the “Accounting Setup” business component.

• “Finance Book” must have been defined in the “Organization Set Up” business component.

• “Service Accounting based on Parameters”  must have been set to “Yes” in the “Set Function Defaults” activity of this business component.

What you can do in this activity

Set Service parameter

The Service parameter can be set for the event work order and the maintenance plan.

4Go to “Set Service Parameter” page.

4Set the Service parameter to create the Service account definition based on the parameter.

4 Specify the account code and Create Service account codes.
