Clearing - An overview
Introduction
Clearing is the process of keeping track and settling discrepancies of the transactions that are posted into a single account code or across account codes. During the course of a business operation, at any given point of time, there could be a difference in the account balance. For example, advance given to employees and reimbursement of the same needs reconciliation. Clearing involves the reconciliation of account balances.
