Resource Details
In this page you can create resource (RM sever / App Server / Web server), configure relation between resources and modify the property of the RM server.
Select the “Resource Details” activity under the “Deployment Administration” business component.
The “Resource Details” page appears.
Creating Resource
Select the “Create Resource” tab in the “Resource Details” page.
Enter the following search criteria:
Resource ID |
The identifier of the resource. |
Resource Name |
The name of the resource. |
Resource Type |
Use the drop-down list box and select the resource type as “RM Server”, “App Server” or “Web Server”. |
Click the “Fetch” pushbutton to retrieve the resource details in the multiline.
Enter the following in the multiline:
Resource ID |
The identifier of the resource to be created. Mandatory. |
Resource Name |
The name of the resource. Mandatory. |
Resource Type |
Use the drop-down list box and select the resource type as “RM Server”, “App Server” or “Web Server”. |
The system displays the following:

Click the “Save” pushbutton to save the resource details.
Configuring resource relation
In this page, the system retrieves and displays the existing mapping details of the source server and destination server. You can define relation between source server and destination server. You can also delete the already existing mapping between the source and destination servers.
Select the “Configure Resource Relation” tab in the “Resource Details” page.
Enter the following in the “Source” group box:
Resource ID |
Use the drop-down list box and select the identifier of the source server. |
The system displays the following in the “Source” group box:
Resource Type |
The type of the source server. |
Enter the following in the “Destination” group box:
Resource ID |
Use the drop-down list box and select the identifier of the destination server. |
The system displays the following in the “Destination” group box:
Resource Type |
The type of the destination server. |
Click the “Fetch” pushbutton to retrieve the source and destination resource details in the multiline.
The system displays the following:
Source Resource ID |
The identifier of the source server. |
Resource Name |
The name of the source server. |
Resource Type |
The type of the source server. |
Destination Resource ID |
The identifier of the destination server that is already mapped to the source resource. |
Resource Name |
The name of the destination server. |
Resource Type |
The type of the destination server. |
Click the “Delete” pushbutton to delete the mapping between source and destination servers.
To proceed carry out the following:
Select the “Add Resource Relationship” link to launch a pop-up window where you can define relationship between source resource and destination resource, by selecting the source and destination Resource IDs and clicking “Save” pushbutton.
