Viewing location

This page allows you to view the details of a location. Tell me more

Select the “View Location” link in the “Select Location” page. Alternatively, click the hyperlinked location in the multiline of the same page.

The “View Location” page appears.

Enter the following field if you wish to view the details of a location other than the location selected in the previous page.

Location	The location you wish to view (Alphanumeric, 30).
	Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the details of the location. The description of the location is displayed alongside.
	Zoom facility available.

The system displays the following fields:

Planning Group	The planning group attached to the location.
Status	The status of the location.
Location Type	The type of the location.
Perform Root Cause Analysis	Indicates the applicability of root cause analysis at location level.
Parent Loc.	The parent location.
Landmark	The landmark that helps in identifying the location. Zoom facility available.
Cost Center Code	The cost center to which the expenses incurred on the location must be posted.
Classification	The classification to which the location belongs.
Sub-Classification	The sub classification of the classification.
Addl. Information	Any additional information about the location.
	Zoom facility available

Click the “Show Attached Eqp.” pushbutton to retrieve the equipment belonging to the location.

The system retrieves the following fields in the “Equipment” multiline:

Eqp.	The equipment that is attached to the location.
Desc.	The description of the equipment.
Status	The status of the equipment.
Type	The type of the equipment.
Installation Date	The date on which the equipment was installed.
Parent	The parent equipment.

The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created By	The login ID of the user who created the location.
Created Date	The date and time on which the location was created.
Last Modified By	The login ID of the user who last modified the location.
Last Modified Date	The date and time on which the location was last modified

To proceed, carry out the following

Select the “View Location Parameters” link from the bottom of the page to view the parameters attached to the location.
Select the “View Attached TSG” link from the bottom of the page and to view the trouble shooting guides attached to the location.
Select the “Map Location Coordinates” link at the bottom of the page to view the latitude and longitude details.

Viewing Location – An overview

You can view the details of a location that is selected in the “Select Location” page. You can also enter a location in this page and view its details. You can also view the details of equipment that are already attached to the location.
