Priority |
Use the drop-down list box to modify the priority or the level of importance assigned to the inspection schedule. The system fills in this field with all the priorities that have been defined in the “Define Priority” activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component and are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank, if you do not wish to specify any priority. |

Inspection On |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you wish to create the inspection schedule on equipment or location. The system provides the options: “Equipment” and “Location”. |

The system lists all the inspection types that have been defined in the “Define Inspection Types” activity of the “Inspection Order” business component and are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank, if you do not wish to specify an inspection type. |

Use the drop-down list box to modify the category of inspection. The system lists all the inspection categories that have been defined in the “Define Inspection Categories” activity of the “Inspection Order” business component and are in the “Active” status. Use the drop-down list box to specify the agency, which must execute the inspection. The system provides the following options: |

Note. If the “Clearance” field is set as “Required”, the system automatically generates a clearance request or a permit based on the option that has been set in the “Option Setting” activity of the “Clearance Permit” business component.

Use the drop-down list box to modify the type of the permit required. The system lists all permit types that have been defined in the “Define Permit Types” activity of the “Clearance Permit” business component and are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank, if you do not wish to specify any permit type. |

Click the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to delete the parameters from the schedule.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the parameters from the schedule.
Click the “Edit” pushbutton to modify the inspection schedule.

To proceed, carry out the following
Select the “Fixed Schedules” link from the bottom of the page to modify the fixed schedules of the inspection schedule.
Select the “Recurring Schedules” link from the bottom of the page to modify the interval schedules of the inspection schedule.
Select the “Off Season” link from the bottom of the page to define the period for which inspection need not be done on the equipment or location.
Select the “Associated WO” link from the bottom of the page to specify the details of work orders that you wish to create for the inspection schedule.
Editing inspection schedule – An overview
This page allows you to edit the details of an existing inspection schedule. You can modify the inspection schedule that is selected from the previous page. You can also directly enter a schedule in this page and edit its details. You can modify the following details of the inspection schedule:
The description of the schedule and its status
The equipment or location on which the inspection must be carried out
The lead-time that is required for the generation of the inspection orders
The agency that must perform the inspection
Type, priority and category of the inspection
Whether clearance from specific authorities are required for carrying out the inspection. If clearance is required, then the type of the clearance permit that must be raised.
The following details of the parameters can be modified:
The inspection point on which the parameter must be inspected
The task or procedure that must be performed for the inspection
Any special tool that is required for the inspection
You can also modify in this activity, the inspection schedules that have been raised from an inspection template. You can specify whether the inspection schedule can be modified based on any changes that have been made on the inspection template.

Specify whether clearance is required or not for carrying out the inspection
Specify if the inspection schedule can be updated from the inspection template

You can specify whether clearance from specific authorities is required for carrying out the inspection order that is raised based on the inspection schedule.
Set the “Clearance” field as “Required” if clearance is required.
Set the “Clearance” field as “Not Required” if clearance is not required.
If clearance is required, the system automatically generates a clearance request or clearance permit for carrying out the inspection order. This is done when an inspection order, based on the inspection schedule, is generated.
Specify if the inspection schedule can be updated from the inspection template
If the inspection schedule has been created from an inspection template, you can specify in this page if the inspection schedule can be updated to reflect the changes made in the inspection template.
Set the “Can Template update this schedule?” field as “Yes” if the inspection schedule must be updated based on the template.
Set the “Can Template update this schedule?” field as “No” if the inspection schedule must not be updated based on the template.
