Basics of using a Ramco iEnterprise Series 4.0  Web Page

Using Online Help

This page allows you to specify the work orders, inspection orders and calibration orders to be performed as a part of the plan. Tell me more.

The “Edit Transactions” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Plan No.

The number of the plan for which transactions must be specified.

 

The description of the plan is displayed alongside.

 
 

Zoom facility available

Plan Status

The status of the plan, which can be “Fresh” or “Confirmed”.

Plan Sch. Start Date

The date on which the plan was scheduled to start.

Est. Duration (Hrs.)

The number of hours required for the execution of the plan.

Sch. Compl. Date

The date on which the plan is scheduled to end.

Plan Type

Use the drop-down list box to modify the type of the plan. The system lists all the plan types that have been defined in the “Define Plan Types” activity and are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank, if you do not wish to specify a plan type. You cannot modify this field if the plan is confirmed.

Plan Category

Use the drop-down list box to modify the category of the plan. The system lists all the plan categories that have been defined in the “Define Plan Categories” activity and are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank, if you do not wish to specify a plan category. You cannot modify this field if the plan is confirmed.

The system displays the following fields:

Est. Cost

The estimated cost that will be incurred on carrying out the plan.

Work Group

The work group that is responsible for carrying out the plan (Alphanumeric, 30). Data entry in this field is mandatory if you wish to confirm the plan. Ensure that the work group is already defined in the “Create Work Group” activity of the “Work Group” business component.

Calendar

The calendar based on which the transaction is performed. This field cannot be modified.

Apex Loc.

The location to which the cost incurred on execution of the plan will be posted (Alphanumeric, 30). Data entry in this field is mandatory, if you are confirming the plan. Ensure that the location is already defined in the “Create Location” activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component and is in the “Active” status. You cannot modify this field if the plan is already confirmed.

New Sch. Start Date

The new date on which the execution of the plan is scheduled to start (Date Format).

Transaction No.

The work order or inspection order or calibration order that you wish to perform as a part of the plan (Alphanumeric, 18). Ensure the following:

 
  • If you are specifying a work order number, ensure that the work order has been created in the “Create Work Order” activity and is in the “Fresh”, “Approved”, “Interrupted”, “Scheduled” or “Deferred” statuses.

 
  • If you are specifying an inspection order, ensure that the inspection order has been created in the “Create Inspection Order” activity and is in the “Fresh” Status.

 
  • If you are specifying a calibration order, ensure that the calibration order has been created in the “Create Calibration Order” activity and is in the “Fresh” Status.

 
  • The transaction should not have already been attached to another plan.

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the “Description”, “Trans On” and “Code” fields in the multiline.

Transaction Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the transaction. The system provides the options: “Work Order”, “Inspection Order” and “Calibration Order”. If you leave the field blank, the system

 
  • Displays “Work Order” in this field if the transaction was defined as a work order in the “Create Work Order” activity in the “Work Order” business component.

 
  • Displays “Inspection Order” in this field if the transaction was defined as an inspection order in the “Create Inspection Order” activity in the “Inspection Order” business component.

 
  • Displays “Calibration Order” in this field if the transaction was defined as a calibration order in the “Create Calibration Order” activity in the “Calibration Order” business component.

 

The system leaves the field blank, by default.

The system displays the following fields in the multiline:

Desc.

The description of the work order, inspection order or calibration order.

Trans On

The maintainable object on which the transaction is raised. The system displays “Equipment” or “Location”.

Code

The equipment or location for which the transaction is raised.

Sch. Start Date

The date on which the execution of the plan is scheduled to start. If you click the “Shift Sch.” pushbutton, the system shifts the scheduled start date by the number of days the plan scheduled start date shifted.

Time

The time at which the execution of the transaction is scheduled to start.

Sch. Compl. Date

The date on which the transaction is scheduled to end.

Time

The time at which the transaction is scheduled to end.

New Sch. Start Date

The new date on which the execution of the transaction is scheduled to start (Date Format). You cannot enter a new start date in this field if the status of the transaction is “Completed” or “Closed”.

Time

The time at which the execution of the transaction is scheduled to start (Time Format).

Work Group

The work group that will be responsible for carrying out the transaction (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the work group is already defined in the “Create Work Group” of the “Work Group” business component and is in the “Active” status. You cannot modify this field if the status of the transaction is “Completed” or “Closed”.

Supervisor

The login ID of the user who is responsible for supervising the carrying out of the transaction (Alphanumeric, 10). Ensure that the user has already been defined in the “Define Employee” activity of the “Resources” business component and is in the “Current” status. You cannot modify this field if the status of the transaction is “Completed” or “Closed”.

Duration

The number of hours required for carrying out the transaction (Decimal) Mandatory. Ensure that the duration is positive. You cannot modify this field if the status of the transaction is “Completed” or “Closed”.

The system displays the following fields in the multiline:

Calendar

The calendar based on which the transaction is performed.

Est. Cost

The estimated cost of carrying out the transaction.

Status

The status of the transaction.

To save the details of the transactions

The system saves the transactions to the plan and performs the following:

  •  

If the plan is confirmed, the system changes the status of the work order to “Scheduled”, if it is in the “Fresh”, “Approved” or a “Deferred” status.

  •  

If there are tasks in the work order , the “Scheduled By” option of the work order is set as “By Task”

  •  

If there are no tasks in the work order, the “Scheduled By” option of the work order is set as “By Work Order”.

  •  

The status of all tasks in the work order, except those in the “In Progress”, “Interrupted” and “Completed” status, is set as “Scheduled”.

  •  

If a new scheduled start date is specified for the work order, sets the scheduled start date of the work order as the new scheduled start date that is specified.

Note: The system also creates clearance request or clearance permits for the work orders based on the option that is set in the “Option Settings” activity of the “Clearance Permit System” business component.

Created By

The login ID of the user who created the plan.

Created Date

The date and time at which the plan was created.

Last Modified By

The login ID of the user who last modified the plan.

Last Modified Date

The date and time at which the plan was last modified.

Modify Maintenance Plan - A summary of the activity

This page allows you to specify the work orders, inspection orders and calibration orders to be performed as a part of the plan. These work orders, inspection orders and calibration orders are referred to as transactions. You can specify the transactions for the plan by entering the following details:

You can shift the schedule for carrying out the plan in this page. You can specify the new start date and time and shift the schedule of the plan. The system shifts the scheduled start date of the plan as well as the scheduled start date of the transactions that must be carried out as a part of the plan.

You can confirm the plan in this page. On confirmation, the status of the plan is set as “Confirmed” and a work order is generated at the plan level for the apex location. Shifting of plan schedules

You can confirm the plan and baseline the scheduled start dates of the plan for the purpose of taking variance reports.
