Review Sample Results – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to review and modify the sample results of quality inspection. Once the inspection details are recorded, the inspection results can be manually updated in this activity. However, if the request has only one sample tested, it need not be reviewed.

The system suggests the sample status based on the standard attribute values provided. Even if one of the attribute values fall outside the allowed range, the system will set the sample status as “Rejected”. Apart from suggesting the status, the system also permits the user to modify the suggested status. That is, if the sample status suggested by the system for an item is “Rejected”, the user will still be able to revise the status to “Accepted”, if necessary. The sample status can also be set to “Ignore”, thus preventing the sample from being considered for further processing.
