Maintain Project Requirement Specifications- A summary of the activity

This screen allows you to map tasks to a project.   Material requirements and resource requirements for the execution of a task particular to the project are maintained.  When a new task is created in this page, it is updated in the "Maintain Task also.  Changes made to tasks from this screen are project specific and not updated in the Task Masters.

You can modify or update the material quantities / add new items for a Project Code – Task combination. Modification of material quantity will overwrite the manually entered value for the same task at a work area level. You can subsequently change the material quantity for a project code – task combination at the individual work area levels, if required. Updation of material quantities / addition of new items will not affect the additional material added at the individual work area levels.

You can add new item to the task. The system automatically carries forward the newly added items for a task to all the work areas in a project plan where the selected task is mapped to the project in Task mapping screen.
