Inquire Stock For Stocking Point – A Summary of the Activity

This activity allows you to query the stock information for a stocking point or an organizational unit. Each organizational unit (OU) has a number of storage units called “Warehouse” that enables you to define the  storage hierarchy of an item. A warehouse is configured, as “Capital” if only capitalized items are stored in it. In this activity, you can specify whether you wish to inquire stock details for capital warehouses only, all warehouses in an OU including capital warehouses, or all warehouses in an OU except capital warehouses. The system retrieves stock details depending on the warehouses you have selected for stock information inquiry.  You can inquire stock information only for item/variants whose item type is not Service/ Model/Kit.

The “View Warehouse Stock Information” link allows you to inquire information on stock stored in the warehouse. The “Inquire Attribute Based Lot Stock” page allows you to inquire stock details for lot - controlled items based on their attribute details or lot details. The “Inquire Attribute Based Serial No. Stock” page allows you to inquire stock information for serially numbered items based on their attribute details or serial numbers. The “View Item Information” page allows you to view the details of items.
