Basics of using Ramco Enterprise series web page

Using online help

This activity allows the customer  to create queries . The user can specify a detailed description of the query and also view the response given or action taken towards the queries.

The “Customer Queries” page appears.

The system displays the following details in the header:

Customer Code

The code identifying the customer.

Customer Name

The name of the customer.

Company Code

The code identifying the company.

Company Name

The name of the company.

Org. Unit

Use the drop-down list box to select the organization unit. The system populates the list box with all the OUs that are mapped to the  Sales Office Desktop” business component. The system displays the login OU by default on launch of the page.

The system displays the following details in the header:

Org. Name

The name of the organization unit. The system retrieves and displays the OU name from “Organization Setup” business component.

Query No.

A unique code identifying the query number (Alphanumeric, 18). Mandatory.

 

Help Facility available.

 

Press<Enter> key.

 

The system check if a query number exists for the customer code, else throws an error message. The system displays the query date and the status of the query.

The system displays the following details in the “Complaints Details” group box:

Query Date

The date on which the query was raised. The system displays the system date by default

Status

The status of the query.

Query Short Desc.

A short textual description of the query (Alphanumeric, 20). Mandatory.

 

A textual description of the raised query. Mandatory.

 

A textual description of the response given to the customer for the raised query (Alphanumeric, 255 ).

The system updates the status of the query to “Pending”.

The system saves all the query details of the customer against the query number.

The system displays the following details in the “Data History” group box:

Created By

The login id of the user who created the customer queries.

Created Date

The date on which the customer queries were created.

Last Modified By

The login id of the user who last modified the customer queries.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the customer queries were last modified.
