Using online help

This page allows you to create a dropship receipt. You can specify details, which includes Dropship Receipt number, Dropship Receipt date, numbering type, ship to customer, sale order number, customer reference number, usage for cost center, receipt date and receipt quantity. The dropship receipt number can be system generated or user defined based on the numbering type selected.

This page also permits you to add accounting information pertaining to the dropship receipt.

The “Create Dropship Receipt” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Status

The status of the dropship receipt. The possible status available are:

 

  • Draft – indicates the status of the dropship receipt when the page is launched.

 

  •  Fresh – indicates the newly created dropship receipt.

 

  •  Authorized – indicates the authorized dropship receipt.

 

  • Deleted – indicates the deleted dropship receipt.

Dropship Receipt No.

The unique code identifying the dropship receipt (Alphanumeric, 18).

Dropship Receipt Date

The date on which the dropship receipt is generated (Date Format).

Numbering Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the required “Numbering Type”. The values in the drop-down list box are populated from the “Numbering Class” business component. If the “Numbering Type” is Manual, then the “Dropship Receipt No.” is user defined else it is system generated.

Sale Order No.

The code identifying the sale order (Alphanumeric, 18). Mandatory. The sale order number must be authorized and must have Dropship item in it.

Ship To Customer

Use the drop-down list box to select the customer to whom the products are shipped. Mandatory.

Customer Ref. No.

The reference number pertaining to the customer (Alphanumeric, 18).

The system displays the following details:

Order Date

The date on which the order is placed.

Order From Customer

The customer who has placed the order. Mandatory.

Bill To Customer

The customer who receives the bill for the purchased goods.

Note: This section is visible only when the pay mode of the Purchase Order  is L.C

Ref. ID.

The reference ID of the LC (Letter of Credit). (Alphanumeric, 70).

LC No.

The number identifying the LC. (Alphanumeric, 30).

The system displays the following:

LC Expiry Date

The expiry date of the LC.

Beneficiary Code

The code identifying the beneficiary.

Beneficiary Name

The name of the beneficiary.

Note: This section is visible only when the “LC Applicability” is set as “Yes” for Sale Order.

Ref. ID.

The reference ID of the LC (Letter of Credit). (Alphanumeric, 70).

LC No.

The number identifying the LC. (Alphanumeric, 30).

The system displays the following:

LC Expiry Date

The expiry date of the LC.

Applicant Code

The code identifying the applicant.

Applicant Name

The name of the applicant.

The system displays with the following item details in the “Item Details” multiline:

Order Line No.

The line number identifying the order placed.

Schedule No.

The number identifying the schedule. Mandatory.

Item Type

The type of item.

Item Code

The code identifying the item. Mandatory.

Variant Code

The variant of the item, if any.

Unit Of Measure

The unit of measurement of the item.

PO / RS No.

The number pertaining to the purchase order or release slip.

PO Line No.

The line number pertaining to the purchase order.

PO Schedule No.

The number identifying the schedule for purchase order.

Vendor Code

The code identifying the vendor.

Ship To Id.

The address identification number where the goods are to be shipped. 

Receipt Date

The date on which the receipt is generated (Date Format). The System Date is displayed as the default value on launch of the page.

Receipt Qty.

The quantity of item received (Integer). The number must be greater than zero. The receipt quantity must not be greater than the PO authorized quantity.

The system displays the following field in the “Item Details” multiline:

Required Date

The required date on which the goods have to be shipped.

PO / RS No. Date

The date on which the purchase order or release slip is placed.

Order Qty.

The quantity of the ordered item.

PO Authorized Qty.

The quantity of the item that is authorized for purchase order.

Pending Qty.

The quantity of the pending item.

Dropship Receipt Line No.

The line number identifying the dropship receipt.

Project Code

A unique code identifying the project associated with purchase order.

Project Description

The detailed description of the project.

Project OU

The organization unit in which the project  is defined.

The status of the dropship receipt gets updated to “Fresh”.

The system displays the following details:

Created By

The login user ID of the person who has created the “Dropship Receipt” component.

Created Date

The date on which the “Dropship Receipt” component is created.
