Edit Item Revision - An overview

Activity overview

If an item has to undergo a change, then the person who is authorized to make the changes alone can have access to this page. The system retrieves the engineering change request details from the main page. The item that requires modification can be specified or retrieved along with the request details. The current revision information associated to the item is populated to the corresponding fields in the multiline. Based on this information, you can specify the new revision details to indicate that the item is under purview of engineering change control. The effective periods between which the engineering change would be in effect can be specified.

Apart from modification, you can also delete the item details by making the appropriate selection in the multiline and initiate the delete operation. If the component and process plan revision details are to be modified correspondingly and the modified request has to be implemented, then the links at the bottom of the page can be used.
