Shortclose Contract – A Summary of the activity

This activity allows you to search and select contract for short closing. The contracts that are in “Authorized”, “Under Amendment” or “Held” status are populated in the multiline. Short close is equivalent to that of cancellation. Only an authorized contract can be short closed. No further transactions can be performed if a release note is short closed. The reason for which a release note is to be short closed can be entered. Multiple short closing of contract is allowed in this activity. The status of the sale order on short closing is updated to “Closed”.

This activity also allows you to view the agreement and blanket sale order details on short closing it.
