Create Stock Transfer Note – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to create a stock transfer note. The transfer of the stock from one warehouse to another is generally accompanied with the stock transfer note. The stock transfer note is similar to a stock transfer invoice and contains information pertaining to the item and the tax, charges and freight incurred during the transfer of the stock between warehouses. The note is generally raised at the shipping point based on the pack slip for the stock transfer order. Based on the pack slip number selected, the system retrieves and displays the details in this activity. You can specify the point from where the note is raised. The system saves the note number and its associated details. The login user ID and the system date are stored along with the creation details.

The analysis and subanalysis code details of the accounting page can also be modified. You can specify the tax and charges details for each stock transfer line item, tax, charges and freight details at document level. Based on the taxes and charges that are incurred during the transfer of the stock are accounted into the respective finance book. The system calculates and displays the tax and charges amount.

You can also view the summary of the stock transfer note and specify any important textual information pertaining to the stock transfer note.
