Predictive Maintenance – An overview
Introduction
Predictive Maintenance constitutes all those activities under Plant Maintenance to ascertain the condition of the Asset under maintenance through recording and evaluation of measurable parameters. This involves scheduled inspections and the corrective actions based on the measurements and assessment of the asset condition. The corrective actions can be initiated based on pre-set triggers (automatically) or from a subjective assessment of the condition (manually).
Feature Highlights
Define schedules for inspection of equipment parameters based on time or equipment usage
Facility to define off-line periods for equipment/group of equipment so that inspection checklist is not generated for that period.
Specify predictive triggers i.e. multiple conditions for range /attribute type parameters of an equipment to trigger a work request (alarm) or a work order (shutdown)
