Task – An overview

Introduction

The maintenance task model business component facilitates definition of the maintenance activity constituents. This component identifies what maintenance activities are to be carried out and how to carry out i.e., it identifies list of activities in a task, standardized work procedures and methods, which will be used in corrective maintenance of a plant. These definitions will later be used in work orders generated in the plant.
