Using Online Help

This page allows you to create a logistic organization. You can enter a unique code and name for identifying the logistic organization. You can also enter the codes identifying the business units that must be mapped to the logistic organization. The system also stores the login ID of the user and the system date along with the newly created logistic organization details..

The “Create Logistic Organization” page appears.

Logistics Organization

A unique code identifying the logistics organization (Alphanumeric, 20). Mandatory.

Logistics Organization Name

A unique name identifying the logistics organization (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory.

 

Zoom facility available

Effective Date

The date from which the logistics organization is effective (Date Format). Mandatory. The date entered in this field must be after the date from which the company is effective.

Business Unit

The code identifying the business unit (Alphanumeric, 20). Mandatory.

 

Press <Enter> key.

 

The system retrieves and displays the corresponding business unit along with company to which it belongs.

 

Help facility available

Note: A business unit can be mapped to a logistic organization only once.

If organization setup has not been completed, a business unit that has been unmapped from a logistic organization can be mapped to another logistic organization.

The system displays the following in the multiline:

Business Unit Name

The name identifying the business unit.

Company Code

The code identifying the company.

Company Name

The name of the company.

The system saves the logistic organization details along with the business unit details in the logistics organization entity. The system also stores the login ID of the user and the system date along with logistic organization details.

The system displays the following:

Created By

The login ID of the user who has created the logistic organization.

Created Date

The date on which the logistic organization was created.
