Basics of using Ramco Enterprise Series web page

Using Online Help

This activity allows you to create the project code. You can specify the project details like the project name, address details, city and country details of a customer for creating and planning a project. You can also specify the land details like total land area, construction area, built up area, construction start date, construction end date, the date on which the building handed over to the customer. Apart from this, you can also specify the sales details and construction details of the project. In the sales details tab, you can group the various source of income of a project and in the construction details you can specify the construction cost and other miscellaneous expenditure details of a project. You can map the defined income/expenditure heads to a particular account code. You can also set the targets for planning a particular project measure and compare the actuals. You can also view the total sale value, construction value and the gross margin applicable to the project.

Note:  Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.

Project Code

A unique code identifying the project. Mandatory.

Project Name

The name of the project. Mandatory.

The system displays the following details in the “Project Details” group box.

Status

The status of the project. The status can be “Fresh” or “Under Amendment” or “Authorized”.

Review No

Use the drop-down list box to view the project amendments.

Review Date

The date on which the project was reviewed/modified.

Category

Use the drop-down list box to specify the category of the project. Mandatory.

Mode

Use the drop-down list box to specify the mode details. The combo is loaded with “Dropped” and “Moved to Operations”. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.

Address1

The line 1address details of the customer.

Address2

The line 2address details of the customer.

Address3

The line 3address details of the customer.

Country

The country of the customer.

State

The state in which the customer resides in.

City

The city in which the customer resides in.

Steering Committee Lead

The name of the person who leads the project steering committee.

Project Lead

The name of the project leader.

Finance Lead

The name of the person who leads the financial part of the project.

DevCo.

The name of the development company.

DevCo. Head

The name of the person who leads the development company.

RentCo.

The company which takes care of the rental part of the project.

RentCo. Head

The name of the person who leads the rental part of the project.

Currency

Use the drop-down list box to specify the project currency details.

Land Code

A unique code identifying the land.

Date of Land Purchase

The date on which the land was purchased.

Land Acquisition

The land acquisition date.

Total Land Area

The total land area of the project. Mandatory.

Land Area UOM

The unit of measurement of the land area. Mandatory.

Total Units

The total number of units of the project.

Construction Area

The total construction area of the land. Mandatory.

Construction Area UOM

The unit of measurement of the construction area. Mandatory.

Parking Slot(s)

The parking slots available in the land.

Gross Saleable Area

The gross saleable area of the land. Mandatory.

Net Saleable Area

The net saleable area of the land. Mandatory.

Saleable Area UOM

The unit of measurement of the saleable area. Mandatory.

Built-up Area

The built up area of the land.

Built-up Area UOM

The unit of measurement of the built-up area.

Construction Start Date

The date on which the construction was started.

Construction Completion Date

The date on which the construction gets completed.

Customer Handover Date

The date on which the building is handed over to the customer.

Customer Move In Date

The date on which the customer moves in to the building.

Name of Land Owning Co.

The name of the person who holds the land.

Free/Lease Hold (Yrs)

The number of years the building is held for lease.

FAR(Times)

The floor area ratio for the project.

Govt. Approvals

The date on which the building was approved by the government.

The system displays the following details in the “Project Details” group box.

Cost of development & Construction

Total cost of construction & development for the project.

Drawings Approval

The date on which the drawings of the building was approved.

Sales Details Tab

Basis

Use the drop-down list box to select the basis for grouping the project’s income details. The combo is loaded with “Component”. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.

Code

A unique code identifying the income.

Description

The detailed description of the code.

Rate (P. Sq. Ft.)

The land rate in terms of per square feet.

Amount

The sales amount.

Payplan

The payment type of the income.

Remarks

Any remarks pertaining to the sales details.

Sequence No

A unique number identifying the income sequence number.

Construction Details Tab

Basis

Use the drop-down list box to select the basis for grouping the project’s expense details. The combo is loaded with “Construction Group”. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.

Code

A unique code identifying the expenditure.

Description

The detailed description of the expenditure.

Payterm

The payment type of the expenditure.

Rate (P. Sq. Ft.)

The land rate in terms of per square feet.

Amount

The construction amount.

Remarks

Any remarks pertaining to the expenditure details.

Sequence No.

A unique number identifying the expenditure sequence number.

Map Account Codes Tab

Category

Use the drop-down list box to specify the category for mapping the account type for a particular category. The combo is loaded with all the income and expenditure codes defined in the “Sales Details” and “Construction Details” multiline. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.

Description

The detailed description of the category.

Account Code

A unique code identifying the account to which the category has to be mapped.

The system displays the following details in the “Map Account Codes” multiline.

Description

The detailed description of the account code.

Cost Center

The code identifying the cost center for which you want to map the category.

Analysis Code

The code identifying the analysis code for which you want to map the category.

Sub Analysis Code

The code identifying the sub analysis code for which you want to map the category.

Map

Use the drop-down list box to map or unmap the category to the account code. The combo is loaded with “Yes” or “No”. The system displays “Yes” by default on launch of the page.

Set Targets Tab

The system displays the following details in the “Set Targets” multiline.

Parameter

Indicates the measures applicable to the project.

Category

The category of the project.

Value

The value applicable for the project parameter.

The system saves the details and creates the Project in “Fresh” status.

The system updates the status as “Authorized”.

Note: Only “Under Amendment” status of the project can be authorized.

The system updates the status as “Under Amendment”.

The system displays the following.

Sale Value

The sum of the Amount in the Sales Details multiline of Sales Details Tab.

Construction Value

The sum of the Amount in the Construction Details multiline of Construction Details Tab.

Gross Margin

Difference between the Construction Value and the Sale Value.

Gross Margin (%)

The gross margin percentage of the Construction Value and Sale Value.
