This page allows you to create a release slip for a blanket PO document. Whenever you required items from the suppliers, you can create a release slip if the long term contract exists in the form of blanket PO. The release slip details as well as the release slip amount details are entered in this page. Certain values are provided in the default entries information tab, which would be populated in the multiline. The item details are provided in the multiline and the “Get Blanket PO Line Items” push button can be accessed to list the blanket PO line items in the multiline. The “Create Release Slip” to create a release slip and “Create & Approve Release Slip” push buttons to create and approve the release slip.
Select the “Create Release Slip” link at the top of the “Select Blanket PO” page.
The “Create Release Slip” page appears.
The system displays the following in the header:
Work Flow Status |
The status of the document as per Work flow Applicability. The Work flow status will be visible only if "Workflow Applicability" for the transaction is set to Yes in Company Parameter Setup component. |
The System displays the status of the Release Slip as “New”.
Enter the following in the “Release Slip Details” group box:

Unique identification number of the Release Slip with which it is referred. (Alphanumeric, 18) |
The System displays the following:
Amendment No. |
Unique identification number of the Amendment document. The Amendment document is created whenever any modifications are done to the approved document. |
Enter the following:
Numbering Series |
Use the drop down list box to select the numbering type for generating the Purchase Order number. Mandatory. If the Numbering series is manual, then the Purchase Order number should be “Mandatory”. If set as “Non Manual”, the system would generate the Purchase Order number based on the Create Numbering Type activity. |
Release Slip Date |
The Date in which the Release Slip document was created. (Date Format). |
Folder |
Use the drop down list box to select the name of the folder associated with the release slip. |
The System displays the following:
Contract Type |
The type of the contract established for the blanket PO is displayed. |
Blanket PO No. |
The Unique identification number of the BPO. |
Blanket PO Date |
The Date of creation of the BPO. |
Type |
Use the drop down list box to select the type of the Release Slip, which is same as the type of the Blanket PO. |
Supplier Code |
Code or identification number of the supplier. |
Name |
Name of the Supplier associated with the supplier code. |
Enter the following:
Hold |
Check this box if you want this created release slip to be put in hold for authorization. |
Buyer |
Use the drop down list box to select the code or identifier of the buyer. |
The System displays the following:
Blanket PO Created At |
The name of the OU in which the Blanket PO was created is displayed. |
Rate Control |
The system displays “Yes” or “No” in this field stating that whether rate control is needed or not. |

You can enter valid comments about the release slip in this field. |
Approval Date |
The date on which the release slip was approved is mentioned. |
The System displays the following in the “Release Slip Amount Details” group box:

The value of the items present in the release slip. |
Additional Charges |
The additional charges incurred for the items. |
Total Value |
The total value of the items present in the release slip. |
Currency |
The currency in which the value of the release slip is specified is displayed. |
Enter the following:
Exchange Rate |
The Exchange-Rate in which the release slip value is calculated w.r.t. to the base currency of the company , if the currency specified for the release slip is different from the base currency (Numeric). If the release slip is in base currency, then the exchange rate is 1(One). |

CC Usage |
Use the drop-down list box to select the user-defined name, which actually points to a Cost Center. The Cost Center for which the items in the release slip has been ordered. In case of Service Item, Adhoc Item CC Usage needs to be specified. |
Account Usage |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the AC Usage, which is used to get an account code from ARD component (Account Rule Definition). Specifying a AC Usage is mandatory in case the line item is a Non-Stockable item. |
Analysis Code |
Code/Identifier that is mapped to the account code that is used for analysis purposes. . (Alphanumeric, 5). |

The balance quantity, which has to be delivered to the customer, is displayed. |

The Actual cost of the item for making a purchase. |

Use the drop-down list box to select the receiving OU where the goods are to be received. This field can be defaulted in the multilane form the “default entries” section. . |
Warehouse Code |
Unique code/identifier of the Warehouse where the items are stored before consumption. This field will be filled automatically if the “default entries” push button is accessed. |

Schedule Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the Schedule Type. It can be “Single” or “Staggered”. If Single schedule type is selected, it would instruct the supplier to deliver the items all at a time. If it is Staggered schedule type, the line item quantity is divided in to part deliveries. |
Need Date |
The Date in which the buyer needs the items. (Date Format). The Need date is filled with a date only when the Schedule type is “Single”. If the Schedule type is “Staggered”, then the need date would be filled in the Schedule Type page where multiple delivery dates are assigned for a particular item. This field will be filled automatically if the “default entries” task is executed. . |
Accounting Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to select the Financial Book also known as Accounting Unit.. This field will be filled automatically if the “default entries” push button is accessed. |

Project OU |
Use the drop-down list box to select the project OU (Organization Unit) for creating the purchase release slip. The combo is loaded with all organization units in which the project definition component is defined. The system displays “RSOU1” by default on launch of the page. |

A unique code identifying the project for creating the purchase release slip. Help facility available. |

Click the “Get Blanket PO Line Items” push button to list the line items of the selected Blanket PO in the “Item Details” multiline.
Click the “Create Release Slip” push button to create the release slip which is associated with the selected Blanket PO or “Create and Approve Release Slip” push button to create and approve the release slip.
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the “Item Details” link at the bottom of the page to view the information pertained to the items present in the release slip.
Select the “Warehouse Details” link at the bottom of the page to view the warehouse address details.
Select the “Specify Schedule & Distribution” link at the bottom of the page to state the information regarding the schedules and about the distribution process.
Select the “Specify Terms & Conditions” link at the bottom of the page, to state the terms and conditions pertaining to the items specified.
Select the “Specify TCD Details” link to state the information regarding taxes, charges, and discounts incurred for the items.
Select the “Specify Budget Details” link to state the budget oriented details.
Select the “Tax Calculation - Summary” link to specify the tax details.
Select the “Specify Dropship Address” link to state the buyer’s address to which the goods are directly supplied when the Purchase Order type is Dropship.
Select the “Specify Release Slip – PR Coverage” link to state the coverage details of the items specified in the purchase request.
Select the “Specify Release Slip – SO Coverage” link to state the coverage details of the items specified in the sale order.
Select the “Specify Quality Attributes” link to state the quality attributes of the items.
Select the “Attach Notes” link to attach a small note stating some additional information for particular line information or the business document.
Select the “Edit Release Slip” link to modify or change information pertained to an already created Purchase Order.
Select the “Supplier Details” link to view the details of the supplier to whom the release slip is sent.
Select the “Budget Details” link to view the details of the purchase budget.
Select the “Proposal Details” link to view the capitalizable items and their details.
Select the “Warehouse Details” link to view the warehouse address information.
Select the “Blanket PO Details” link to view the blanket purchase order details.
Select the “View Disposition Review” link to view the planning done for the items.
Select the “View Earliest Available Date” link to view the earliest date in which the goods are available.
Select the “View Free Stock Details” link to view the items that are not related to any demand and are free to be delivered to the buyers. The Free Stock quantity is kept apart for any urgent requirement of the items. The information regarding the items is supplied and the Free Stock quantity available for those items can be found.
Select the “View Stock Status Review - OU” link to view the stock status in the different organizational units present under an Organization structure.
Select the “View Stock Status Review – WH wise” link to view the stock status in various warehouses.
Select the "Operational Checklist" link to record the check list required for the purchase release slip.
